As part of the Noosa 2.0 initiative, an audit of councils brands and a master brand iteration was required to modernise and future-proof the council. Creative Direction was aimed at 2040 to establish longevity throughout the Olympic Games and beyond with a timeless design approach. The task was modernising the trademark into a versatile brand stamp that remained authentic to the features of the original Boronia flower logotype. Custom typography was commissioned to be bold, modern and legible from a distance. Paired with "Helvetica Now Display" body copy. It is accessible to everyone and future proof. 4 brand strategy workshops with various stakeholders we held at the Noosa Council. These strategic sessions informed the visual treatment of all the brand assets including the colour palette which represents the landscape from hinterland to sea.
